Hi Veronica, I read and fiddled on the computer until very late last night and so am late rising this morning. Slippers has her bed in the sitting room and I, mine with the door shut. As soon as I got up she was into my spot in the bed. She’ll stay there the rest of the day.
I don’t have a cat, although I wish I did. I have an allergy that prevents me. It wasn’t always so. When I was a child we had little Tiggy. I had no problem back then.

When I woke up this morning, I was amazed there were no animals on the bed. We usually have the dog and at least 2 of the 3 cats in bed with us.
