I’m Taking the Ferry
The wonderful made easy;
I’m taking the ferry
to God knows where.
The wonderful made easy.
I’ll travel the Fiords.
Waterborne around the Sounds;
the wonderful made easy.
As we set out to tramp the bush,
this is wonderful, wonderful;
certainly wasn’t easy.
But I am of the big big city
living and working the long long day,
looking down from buildings tall.
This so very different.
I wouldn’t say wonderful:
I wouldn’t say easy.
