Today our example poet mussed with language and sound. But we also had to go with big/small and bring them together. Wasn’t sure how far this poem was going to go but it made its own decisions. I truly thought I was going to flag out today but poetry just wouldn’t let me. The title also chose itself. The one choice I made was to use the word beer as acknowledgement of our example poet.
Annoying
not as bee sting
snakes fling tongues long
longing to what
and what
cross-stitch under the mouse
sand etching glass
beer deer fear full
sting tingling if you there
the always I can’t repeat
and can yes not remember
bees so small and so precious
snakes so massively annoying
but so am bees be if they sting
which was enough is enough
