Lines on Cabbage
.
I do not know if I go on
as I have begun
as I have begun
go on
.
go on and on
I cannot
see the moon tonight
the moon tonight
I cannot see
.
a blackbird
on the neighbour’s chimney
on the neighbour’s chimney
a blackbird
there was a blackbird
there was a blackbird
.
on the stove, I am cooking
onions noodles peas and carrots
onions noodles peas and carrots
and some cabbage
.
lines on cabbage
please do not repeat
.

Today’s prompt: And now for our (optional) prompt. Today I’d like to challenge you to write a poem that relies on repetition. It can be repetition of a phrase, or just a word.
Oh that was silly. Fun interpretation of the prompt. I must work on mine. Have been having a lazy Saturday.

This is so funny. A lovely description of the writing process and that moment when you don’t quite know what you are doing and where you are going, but you keep going anyway. And that last line is hilarious.
